The client entrusted us with integrating their webshop with existing ERP systems.
The challenge
Integrating the webshop with existing ERP systems requires a delicate balance between delivering a seamless customer experience and managing complex processes. The main challenge was that Wever & Ducré often preassembles products before shipping, which required a unique approach to inventory management and availability calculations.

The project goal
Our goal was to connect the online ordering processes with internal workflows, ensuring that orders are processed smoothly and all relevant data is transmitted to the ERP system in real-time. This allows Wever & Ducré to meet customer needs more quickly and efficiently.
The solution
Our approach was to develop a flexible, robust interface between the webshop and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. This solution provided Wever & Ducré's customers with a comprehensive overview of real-time inventory availability, expected deliveries, and integration with the ERP ordering system. Customers can now place orders directly without the need for employee involvement. Additionally, the direct connection to the ERP system enables the management of complex pricing and tax logic, ensuring a consistent ordering experience across both the webshop and backend system.
The result
After successfully completing the project, we achieved a seamless integration that optimized internal processes and significantly improved the customer experience on the webshop. The webshop now operates reliably in real-time, allowing customers to have a comprehensive overview of their orders, inventory levels, and expected deliveries.
